The View Point Inn

Open to the public

The Monte Carlo themed prom scenes at the end of the movie.

Outside, they filmed the walkway, gazebo and fountain overlooking the gorge. Inside, they filmed the prom scenes, Victoria looking out of the window in the Roosevelt Room, and the final scene of Victoria walking down the stairs.

Walking the grounds and taking pictures can be done any time, but getting inside is a little harder for now. In December 2008 they had a small fire, and the inn is undergoing restorative construction. It’s only open for dining and lodging on Saturday and Sunday–call for reservations (503) 695-5811.

There are some great ones here! Photo prints of the actors filming, t-shirts, and you can even purchase a personalized brick to be placed on the Twilight Walk of Fame.

This place is BEAUTIFUL! A must see for every Twilight fan. I can’t wait to go back on my birthday and get a Twilight brick of my very own! :)

Visited this site on 8-19-09 and was very impressed. We had dinner reservations for 6:30 but arrived early and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is a replica of the Monte Carlo Casino arch on the lawn for photos. The grounds are spectacular and the view breathtaking. We stayed long enough to see the sunset and it was so worth it. The meals were first class and they have special items that are Twilight themed on the drink, dinner and dessert menus. The gift shop has some nice things and if you can spring for the brick I would recommend it. For a small additional fee you can have your brick placed in the Twilight Walk of Fame path, just under the flag pole.

update, the owners of the viewpoint inn abandoned the property in 2011 due to another fire that burnt a lot of the roof of the building, and a lack of insurance to cover said fire. Stakeholders in the business seized all twilight related items including the notable bricks, the monte carlo archway, and a fountain that the gazebo in the movie was placed over. No Trespassing signs are all over the building and if you do decide to enter, do so at your own risk. The yard where a few scenes were filmed is still completely accessible albeit grown over, though there’s a definite path in the grass carved out by twilighters that wanted to walk in the footsteps of edward and bella.
