The websites shown in the movie were fake. I wish they were real. Would be even cooler if they were the sites Stephenie Meyer did her research on, but sadly they were movie props.

I am a big Twilight fan, and read all the books. But I have recently come across the news that Stephenie is writing an additional Twilight book ‘The Midnight Sun’. Is it released yet? Or is it going to?

She was writing Midnight Sun and mid-way through it got leaked. She felt so betrayed that she stopped writing it. The first 13 chapters are now posted on her website for all to see but no word on IF she will ever finish it. http://stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html
I hope she finishes it. It’s my favorite of the Twilight Saga. It shows a deeper funnier side of Edward.

Too bad the website wasn’t real. I was actually trying to look for it. I met Solomon Trimble, he plays Sam in Twilight, a year ago and he made me interested in trying to search for the website. Its a shame it’s not real though because the website looked very interesting.

The book in the movie was just a prop. The true Quileute legends are much different than what is portrayed in Twilight. Personally, I love both the real and fictional legends. We’ve had Quileute story teller Anita Wheeler at a few of our past events and had her as a guest in our home. She’s mezmerized us with hours of her family’s stories and the true history of the Quileute Tribe.
