Open to the public
This salon was transformed into the Petite Jolie dress shop where Jessica and Angela tried on prom gowns. You could see the court house in the background.
The owner of Angel Hair Salon, Brittney Bradford, is very welcoming to Twilight fans. She was an extra in two scenes — one where she was walking on the street and the other where she was sitting with her back to the camera in the Bloated Toad restaurant, with the smiling/sighing guy that is shown when Edward is reading minds and says “cat.” Look for her blond hair the next time you watch Twilight. You can also see that scene in the official Twilight Movie Guide Book.
The lovely window paintings of ivy topiaries that can be seen behind Bella in the movie were already on the windows of the salon and may have played a part in Catherine Hardwicke choosing this location for the dress shop. You can see the view of the courthouse from the waiting area of the salon, just as it appeared in the movie.
Brittney has Catherine Hardwicke’s director chair sitting in her front window and welcomes Twilight fans to take plenty of pictures.
Brittney is always glad to sign your Twilight Movie Guide, if she’s not busy with a client. You can take lots of pictures. Brittney plans to get in a line of Petite Jolie hair care items that she will offer as souvenirs.
